The ISDN LED of Vigor 128 will indicate the number of B channels. Double blinking means that two B channels are in use. Single blinking denotes that one B channel is used. Dynamic Multilink PPP(Bandwidth on Demand) The Dynamic Multilink PPP will raise or drop B channels depending on the sending of threshold data volume. The special feature of Dynamic Multilink PPP is to set up a call over a second B channel when the traffic of first B channel becomes heavy. When data rates reduce, the Dynamic Multilink PPP may hence drop the second call. Simple steps to utilize the Dynamic MultilinkPPP: Step1 : Control Panels->modem Step 2: Selection Window of "Modem" : isdnVigor 128 Dynamic MLPPP Note: This function will be supported after version 3.0 driver. isndVigor128 Setting Program You can use the isdnVigor128 Kiosk to set the incoming MSN, phone number, phone subaddress and get the driver version information. You can also monitor the ISDN line's behavior. Click "Control Panels" -> "isdnVigor128 Kiosk" (1) MSN setting The Multiple Subscriber Number (or MSN) is an ISDN feature that allows you to have more than one directory numbers for a single BRI. Thus if you have more than one ISDN devices connected to the NT1, you can set a specific MSN to the isdnVigor128 so that it can accept an incoming call that is called to the MSN. For example, if you set an MSN as "123", the isdnVigor128 will only accept the call with "Called Party Number" as xx..x123. Where xx..x denotes any leading digits of the MSN "123". (Only the last digits of the numbers are compared!) You can set up to 10 MSNs to the isdnVigor128. By default, no MSN is assigned. In other words, the isdnVigor128 will accept all incoming calls. (2) Phone Number/Phone Subaddress Setting If you set the phone number/phone subaddress fields, they will be sent to network when you place a call. By default there's no such setting. (3) Version It will display the current dirver's version information. (4) Lamps of ISDN/B1/B2 ISDN : Lights up when the ISDN line is activated. B1/B2 : Lights up when the B1/B2 channel is employed. Press Save to save the current Kiosk settings to the memory in order to become effective. At any time, you could press Reload to load settings in the memory to the Kiosk display. You can use command+Q or File->Quit to quit this setting program. Appendix A: DrayTek AT Command Set A-1.
