[Introduction]

The Vigor2500V series ADSL VoIP router is a new product family which includes Vigor2500V, and Vigor2500Vi model.  
This product family is based on same hardware architecture of the whole Vigor 2500 series router 
and we integrate VoIP function into the router.

[Release Firmware] the same firmware for annex A and B

	     1> "v25vc256.xxx" is with Conexant modem code v3.27.
                                     ( recommended for annex A [POTS] )
	     2> "v25vo256.xxx" is with Conexant modem code v3.20.
                                     ( recommended for annex B [ISDN] users who stay in Portugal, the Netherlands, Spain, and so on. )
                                     ( For annex A users who stay in China, Australia and the USA. )
	     3> "v25va256.xxx" is with Conexant modem code v3.46.
                                     ( Try this if you have sync problem on adsl. )
         

Notes:
 
1. You have to upgrade "*.RST" firmware file once you face the booting problems after upgrading.  
   After upgrade "*.RST" firmware file to the router, it will erase the existing settings of the 
   router, and restore the factory default settings into the router.  
   What is the timing to using "*.rst" file to upgrade your router?  
   Once you failed to upgrade your router using "*.ALL" firmware file (normally use) several 
   times, then we suggest you use "*.RST" firmware file to do the upgrade.  

2. After upgrade the router successfully, you can make sure the upgraded firmware version 
   is the one listed above from the router's web user interface. 

3. Do not attempt to restore old settings from a configuration backup file downloaded from 
   previous firmware version.  

4. Please select modulation to "MULTI" or "T1.413" when your adsl line was annex B ( ADSL Over 
   ISDN) and it only can work with Alcatel ETSI Mode.	

5. Please try to use modem code v3.20/3.46 if you meet sync problem.
