(Standard) 2> "v26vk250.xxx" is with ADI firmware 41E2BE2C. (Recommended for UK, v2.5_UK) 3> "v26v0250.xxx" is with ADI firmware 43E2EAA1. (Recommended for high dB users which are using ADSL extended line on UK, v2.5_UK2) 4> "v26vc250.xxx" is with ADI firmware 40E2BE29. (Recommended for Holland, v2.5_H) (2)For Annex B Model, 1> "v26vb250.xxx" is with ADI firmware 40E3BE15. (Standard) 2> "v26vg250.xxx" is with ADI firmware 40E4BE3d. (Recommanded for Germany, v2.5_G) Notes: 1. You have to upgrade "*.RST" firmware file once you face the booting problems after upgrading. After upgrade "*.RST" firmware file to the router, it will erase the existing settings of the router, and restore the factory default settings into the router. What is the timing to using "*.rst" file to upgrade your router? Once you failed to upgrade your router using "*.ALL" firmware file (normally use) several times, then we suggest you use "*.RST" firmware file to do the upgrade. 2. After upgrade the router successfully, you can make sure the upgraded firmware version is the one listed above from the router's web user interface. 3. Do not attempt to restore old settings from a configuration backup file downloaded from previous firmware version. [Release Note] This release firmware versioin was based on Vigor2600 series Rev. v2.5, besides, this revision we have added some additional functions listed below: 1. LPR Print Server via USB Printer port on the back panel 2. VLAN support port-based rate throttle capability 3. The Multi-PVC function is mainly to improve the ADSL access capability. Current implementation depends on specific ISP/Telcom services. If you don't know whether your ISP/Telcom support it or not, please ignore the realted settings of Multi-PVC function. In general, you are recommended to select "UBR" of QoS for the Internet Access. 4. If you have any ADSL on-line problem, please contact your service provide at first, or get into web user interface ("Internet Access Setup" > "PPPoE/PPPoA" or "MPoA") to change the "Modulation" of "DSL Modem Settings" to "T1.413", then to try again. Also, you can use the following Telnet commands to tune your router working with Globespan chipset DSLAM : > adsl status Get DSLAM chipset verdor information > adsl dslam gspn Set ADSL parameters compatible with the Globespan chipset DSLAM > adsl dslam default Set ADSL parameters to fatory default settings 5.
