Guide to Add Second Hard Drive to VP-500

1. FDISK your new HD if necessary to make sure it contains only one partition.

2. Format your new HD as FAT32 file system. 

3. Set the jumper of HD as SLAVE device.

4. Power off and open the case of VP-500. 

5. Check the jumper setting of the first HD to be MASTER device.

6. Install the second HD in a dedicated mounting bracket with 4 screws. 

7. Install the bracket on top the the first HD with 4 screws.

8. Connect with IDE cable and power cable.

9. Connect a keyboard and VGA monitor to VP-500.

10. Power on and enter BIOS settings.

11. Change hte boot device to be HDD2

12. Enter "Integrated Peripherals", enable "IDE Prefetch Mode" and "IDE HDD Block Mode", save and quit.

13. Close the case of VP-500. 

14. Done.
