How To Revise Firmware by RS-232 Cable

Step 1: Use WinZip to extract all of the files in FW21.ZIP to a Temp. Directory
Step 2: Connect PC and VPON BOX by using a RS-232 Cable
Step 3: Launch WCOMW.EXE from the Temp. Directory
Step 4: Power ON the VPON BOX.
Step 5: On the window of WCOMW.EXE, you will see the text as follwos.

		Start comm port writer (COM2)
			:

		MAC Address = XX.XX.XX.XX.XX.XX
		------ Loader Menu -----
		(1) Set IP/DNS/GW
		(2) Update firmware
		(3) Set Master Code
		(4) Query firmware version
		(x) Exit
		Choose?

	Choose 2 to update the firmware.

Step 6: Enter the filename of the firmware as "gwmain.bin.21".
Step 7: Wait for the program to update the firmware until the above text showed again. 
Step 8: Choose x to exit the WCOMW.EXE. The VPON BOX will reboot automatically.
Step 9: Quit WCOMW.EXE and finish the update firmware procedure.
